Essential maintenance planned for identity proving service on Sunday 11th Jan 2026 from 9 pm till 9:30 pm.
Users on the GOV.UK One Login app trying with a Passport/Biometric Residence Permit will be able to prove their identity.
Users trying via web-based identity checks will not be able to prove their identities.
Users on the GOV.UK One Login app trying with a Driving Licence will not be able to prove their identity.
Users will not be able to reuse an existing identity if it was issued more than 6 months ago.
